What is the Suzuki Hayate 125? The Suzuki Hayate 125 is what people would consider Suzuki's answer to the very successful Honda Wave 125. As with the Honda Wave the Suzuki Hayate is an all around motorcycle that does everything as long you feed him gasoline. Like Honda Wave, Suzuki Hayate is also a fuel-saver, so it is very adaptable with high gasoline prices. The Suzuki Hayate is now available in AAA Budget. |

The Suzuki Hayate 125, or UW125C as its factory designation, is a motorcycle powered by a 4-Stroke, single cylinder, forced air-cooled, SOHC, 2-valve 124.1cc engine, with a bore 53.5mm and 55.2mm stroke, producing a compression ratio of 9.6:1. The engine lubrication is that of Suzuki-owned, self-invented lubrication system, Suzuki Advanced Lubrication & Cooling System, which forces lubrication to the most remote parts of the engine, making the Suzuki Hayate engine one of the most effective lubricated 125cc engines. Lubrication of engine parts is mostly overlooked nowadays as people seem to care more how the motorcycle looks than how long it will give you the pleasure of driving it. The transmission of the Suzuki Hayate is by CVT/V-belt, providing a smooth ride with this step-less automatic belt transmission. The fuel tank holds 4.7 liter fuel and is good for about 164 kilometers or more, depending on the gasoline if it takes extra miles. The Suzuki Hayate 125's suspension is a coil spring, oil damped telescopic forks, and twin oil damped suspension on the rear. It also has front and rear spoke wheels equipped with 220mm front disc brake and 190mm rear drum brake. Suzuki Hayate 125 is a creative motorcycle for someone who looks for a Honda Wave but want a bit more. |
